ISP address request - pilot module

Overview

This module will help you prepare an ISP address request from APNIC using the online request form. It will take you step-by-step through the form and help you to prepare the information required by APNIC. By the end of this course, you will have collected all the information needed to make a request for address space from APNIC. Please note, however, that your request will still depend on consultation with APNIC hostmasters.

This module does not cover how to apply for resources using MyAPNIC. It will, however, help you to understand the key policies and procedures relevant to IP resource requests.

After completing this module, participants should be able to:

  • understand key APNIC policies in relation to IP address distribution
  • understand the criteria that APNIC uses to assess resource requests
