Proposal summary
----------------

This is a proposal to change the maximum timeframe APNIC uses to make
IPv4 allocations to meet LIRs' needs from twelve months to six months to
help ensure the fairer distribution of the remaining unallocated free
pool.

This proposal has not been submitted in any other region.

- It was noted that the current twelve-month allocation timeframe is a
   maximum timeframe and that account holders can request less than
   twelve months worth of IPv4 addresses if desired.
