[sig-policy] Call for volunteers: Policy SIG Co-chair positions

Dear Policy SIG member

Due to Dong Yan's recent resignation as Co-chair, APNIC is seeking
volunteers to serve as Policy SIG Co-chairs.

The Policy SIG Co-chair term is two years. Two positions are available.

The Co-chair role is a volunteer position whose responsibilities
include:

    - Working with the Chair to encourage and facilitate discussion on
the mailing list and at the APNIC meeting

    - Assisting with chairing the Policy SIG session

    - Working with the Chair to develop the Policy SIG agenda

    - Posting proposals and information about the Policy SIG to the
      Policy SIG mailing list

For more information about the role, please see the SIG guidelines at:

    http://www.apnic.net/meetings/archive/sigs/sig-guidelines.pdf

If you are interested in this position, please email an expression of
interest, including a short biography to <sig@apnic.net> and CC
<sig-policy-chair@apnic.net>.

The deadline for receiving nominations is 4 September 2007.

If there are any volunteers, elections will be held at the Policy SIG
on Thursday 6 September during APNIC 24 in New Delhi, India.

All SIG Co-chairs undertake this work on a voluntary basis. The APNIC
Secretariat speaks on behalf of the community in saying we are very
appreciative of the work done by the Chairs and Co-chairs.

Regards
