[sig-policy] APNIC document review: IPv6 Address Allocation and Assignment Policy
Dear SIG Members
APNIC seeks final editorial comments on the following draft document:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
* IPv6 Address Allocation and Assignment Policy
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
This document has been updated to reflect the implementation of the
following policy proposals:
prop-031: Proposal to amend APNIC IPv6 assignment and utilisation
requirement policy
prop-033: End site assignment policy for IPv6
prop-035: IPv6 portable assignment for multihoming
The changes are as follows:
- In section 5.1.1.1 d), the reference to a "plan for at least
200 /48 assignments" has been replaced by a "plan for at least
200 assignments".
- The HD ratio has been changed from 0.8 to 0.94 in sections
5.2.2 and 7.
- The size of assignments has been left to the LIR or ISP's
discretion on section 5.4.1.
- A new portable assignment criteria has been inserted as section
5.8.1. The section numbers for Internet Exchange Points and
critical infrastructure have therefore been incremented.
