Kenny,

I read this message as "to change the game, play the
game" and that is fair, and I guess I had that coming.

While I accept that the ideal of a bottom up process
is of value, I am sceptical that any real change will
happen as the overriding voting mechanisms are biased
to large operators.

Sure, the options to change policy are there - but I
see only at a minimal level. I'm quite confident that
I could write a policy proposal like the lame DNS one
that was passed and have it floated at a meeting
(which I'm sure my employer won't send me to) with
every likelihood of it reaching consensus. But like
the DNS thing. Who cares.. this is small trivial
stuff.

I see bigger issues. How to correct them - I don't
know. Sometimes recognising that there is a problem is
the first step.
