APNIC DOCUMENT UPDATE

IPv6 address allocation and assignment policy
________________________________________________________________

"IPv6 address allocation and assignment policy" was released as a draft 
in April 2005.

The draft did not include any new policy decision but incorporated two 
APNIC-specific IPv6 policies that were previously documented in separate 
places:

   - Assignments to IXPs
   - Assignments to critical Internet infrastructure

The comment period for this draft has now finished and the updated 
document is now officially active:

   http://ftp.apnic.net/apnic/docs/ipv6-address-policy.txt
