FINAL CALL FOR COMMENTS:

IXP assignment policy amendments to document "Policies for IPv4 address
space management in the Asia Pacific region"

APNIC seeks final comments on the following draft document:

* Policies for IPv4 address space management in the Asia Pacific region
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

This document amends the definition of an IXP and allows recipients of an
IXP assignment to route the IP addresses globally. It is available at:

This draft is intended to implement the consensus decision reached at APNIC
17 (endorsed by the Executive Council on 24 December 2003) in relation to
proposal prop-011-v001.

Nature of the document review
-----------------------------

This is an editorial review only. The APNIC community has already reached
consensus on the policy issues which are to implemented.

Therefore, during the comment period, interested parties may:
  - object to the draft document on the grounds that it does not
    properly reflect the consensus decision reached in the Policy
    Review Process;
  - suggest improvements of any aspect of the document;
  - request that an additional call for comment be made to allow
    more consideration of substantial revisions.
