[sig-nir] New APNIC policy now active

Dear colleagues

The APNIC Secretariat has now implemented a policy proposal that
reached consensus at the APNIC 25 NIR SIG in Taipei, Taiwan in
February 2008. The APNIC Executive Council (EC) endorsed the
proposal during their May 2008 meeting. The policy change is:

    prop-054: NIR operational policy document revision

        - The document now includes a reference to ip6.arpa
        - The reverse DNS processes have been updated
        - The appendix has been removed


The comment period for the draft document incorporating this policy
has ended. The updated document is now officially active:

    Operational policies for National Internet Registries in the APNIC
    region
