[sig-nir] Call for volunteers to chair NIR SIG

Dear NIR SIG member

APNIC is seeking a volunteer to serve as Chair of the NIR SIG. The
Chair is a voluntary position whose responsibilities include:

    - Chairing the SIG session
    - Developing the agenda
    - Posting proposals and information about the SIG to the mailing
      list
    - Encouraging and facilitating discussion on the mailing list
      and at the APNIC meeting

If you are interested in this position, please send an expression of
interest, including a short biography in an email to <sig@apnic.net>
and CC <sig-nir-chair@apnic.net>.

The nomination deadline is 4 September 2007.

If there are any volunteers, elections will be held at the NIR SIG
meeting at APNIC 24 in New Delhi, India, 29 August - 7 September 2007
to choose a new Chair.

All SIG Chairs undertake this work on a voluntary basis. The APNIC
Secretariat speaks on behalf of the community in saying we are very
appreciative of the work done by the Chairs and Co-chairs.
