[SIG-IX] Call for volunteers for position of IX SIG Chair

Dear Colleagues,

I will be stepping down as Chair of the IX Special Interest Group (SIG)
after the IX SIG meeting at APNIC 23 in Bali.

Che-Hoo Cheng (IX SIG Co-chair) and I are now seeking a volunteer to
serve as the IX SIG Chair.  The IX SIG Chair term is two years.  The
Chair is a volunteer position whose responsibilities include:

 - chairing the IX SIG session
 - working with the Co-Chair to develop the agenda
 - posting proposals and information about the IX SIG to the IX SIG
   mailing list
 - working with the Co-Chair to encourage and facilitate discussion on
   the mailing list and at the APNIC meeting

If you are interested in becoming the IX SIG Chair, please include a
short biography and description of your interest in an e-mail to
<sig@apnic.net>, and CC <sig-ix-chair@apnic.net>.

The deadline for receiving nominations is 27th February 2007.  If there
are any volunteers, there will be elections at the IX SIG meeting at
APNIC 23 in Bali, Indonesia, 26 February - 2 March 2007 to choose the
new IX SIG Chair.  Candidates need to be present at the IX SIG meeting
to be eligible.
