 did i say anything about transit?  the hangups are strictly 
 political/legal.  once those issues are delt with, i'm sure
 that that those routes will cease.  in the mean time, if you
 (the metaphoric you) don't care to see these routes, its 
 your choice.  Filter out what you don't want to see.
