APNIC Open Policy Meeting
September 4th, 2002
Time 14:00-15:30
Call For Presentations for the IPv6 (technical) SIG
The IPv6 SIG meeting will be held in Kitakyushu, Japan on Wednesday
September 4th, 2002 during the APNIC Open Policy Meeting. This SIG is an
open forum to discuss IPv6 technical issues within the Asia Pacific region.
This e-mail is a request for contributions. Presentations of relevance
from anyone who is interested in IPv6 development and deployment issues
in the Asia Pacific region.
If you would like to take part in this SIG with a presentation, please
send your proposal to sig-ipv6-chair@apnic.net, cc'ing sig@apnic.net.
Suggestions for a proposals should be sent no later than the Thursday
1st August 2002.
Requirements
The proposal:
- should be relevant to this special interest group,
- be no more than 1000 words, and
- should describe your perspective on the topic including its pros/cons
from various aspects.
- should indicate the time required (a time limit of 10-15 minutes
per presentation will be set)
A Guide has been prepared for all those intending to present at the
meeting. It contains useful information and helpful hints. This guide can

The schedule is:
* Monday 1st July - Call for presentation
* Thursday 1st August - Deadline for submitting content
(proposals, presentations)
* Thursday 15th August - Deadline for receiving slides for
printing
* Tuesday 3rd September - Open Policy Meeting commences
