APNIC is seeking an experienced Human Resources and Office Manager to support a staff of 45. The role reports directly to the Director General and works closely with members of the management team to achieve a positive work environment for all staff. The HR Manager focuses on day to day HR operational tasks and many general HR issues including recruitment, OH&S, policies and procedures, performance management, immigration, training and development, leave and benefits, and advice to managers to support the development of the business and its people.
A small proportion of the role is managing an administrative assistant in the day to day running of the office environment.
This position will ideally suit a person with a relevant degree who is capable of working autonomously, is able to use their initiative and is competent in working with people from many different cultural backgrounds. Accreditation as a Workplace Health and Safety Officer and Workplace Rehabilitator will be highly advantageous.
