We have an opportunity for a Systems Administrator with a focus on Internal
Customer support to be part of our Systems Administration team. The role
works under close supervision of the Sr Systems Administrator and provides
opportunities to work autonomously and with the team. Responsibilities will
include supporting internal customers with their desktop hardware and
software needs, supporting local area and wireless network, infrastructure
support and systems process and documentation. APNIC uses Microsoft, Apple
and UNIX based systems.
The role has scope to develop further responsibilities for the right person.
Regular training and/or study leave and study assistance to obtain relevant
qualifications are also available.
Ideally we are seeking a degree qualified candidate with a minimum of two
years of experience in commercial desktop operating systems or application
software installation and deployment or with C/C++, Perl and Shell; and
possess a willingness to assist both technical and non technical users with
their desktop and roaming systems.
APNIC is located in Milton and has over 40 staff from diverse cultures.
