APNIC is seeking a degree qualified candidate for the role of Finance Officer in our unique and exciting multicultural organisation, based in Brisbane, Australia.

The role reports directly to the Finance and Accounting Manager and responsibilities will include supervising all aspects of accounts receivable and payable, assisting the Finance and Accounting manager with undertaking reporting, analysis and compliance functions and undertaking general financial administration as required.

The role has scope to develop further responsibilities for the right person. Regular training and/or study leave and study assistance to obtain relevant qualifications is also available.

Ideally we are seeking a degree qualified candidate who is currently studying towards a CPA /CA and has at least one year of experience in supervising accounts payable and receivable, experience in using ACCPAC and D-Bit;, competent in completing statutory returns, handling foreign currency accounts and financial modeling. An eye for detail, clear written and verbal communication, strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to work will be looked at favourably.
