Checklist for the APNIC IPv4 ISP Request Form
- Have I completed all of the fields?
- Is the APNIC account name I have provided correct?
- If this is my organisation's first address request, have I specified this?
Note: Your organisation's first address allocation request is subject to a non-refundable IP resource application fee of AU$3,169. Subsequent allocations are free of charges.
- Have I provided an existing maintainer object in the form?
- Have I created a role object so network abuse reports can be handled by our organisation more easily?
Note: This is optional but highly recommended. See Creating a role object for more information.
- Have I indicated whether we are applying under cable bootstrap criteria?
- Does the information I have provided match the formats specified in the help guide, as illustrated by the examples?
- Have I recorded the use of IP addresses that are being used for our infrastructure?
- Have I updated all of my customer assignments in the APNIC Whois Database?
- Have I deleted all of the objects in the database that record assignments made to companies that are no longer our customers?
- Are there any overlapping database objects within our IP address range?
Note: To check all of the inetnum objects that have been registered within your range simply select the -M option when you query the APNIC Whois Database. This should give you a list of all of the inetnum objects within your range.
- Have I documented the usage details of all of the IP addresses we have been allocated?
