Checklist for the APNIC IPv4 ISP Request Form

  1. Have I completed all of the fields?
  2. Is the APNIC account name I have provided correct?
  3. If this is my organisation's first address request, have I specified this?
  4. Note: Your organisation's first address allocation request is subject to a non-refundable IP resource application fee of AU$3,169. Subsequent allocations are free of charges.
  5. Have I provided an existing maintainer object in the form?
  6. Have I created a role object so network abuse reports can be handled by our organisation more easily?
  7. Note: This is optional but highly recommended. See Creating a role object for more information.
  8. Have I indicated whether we are applying under cable bootstrap criteria?
  9. Does the information I have provided match the formats specified in the help guide, as illustrated by the examples?
  10. Have I recorded the use of IP addresses that are being used for our infrastructure?
  11. Have I updated all of my customer assignments in the APNIC Whois Database?
  12. Have I deleted all of the objects in the database that record assignments made to companies that are no longer our customers?
  13. Are there any overlapping database objects within our IP address range?
  14. Note: To check all of the inetnum objects that have been registered within your range simply select the -M option when you query the APNIC Whois Database. This should give you a list of all of the inetnum objects within your range.
  15. Have I documented the usage details of all of the IP addresses we have been allocated?
