APNIC drafts for public comment
About APNIC draft documents
The APNIC Secretariat releases public drafts of documents incorporating policies that have successfully completed the policy development process. Following the initial call for comments, there is a one month comment period in which interested parties may:
- Object to the draft document on the grounds that it does not properly reflect the consensus decision reached in the Policy Review Process
- Suggest improvements of any aspect of the document
- Request that an additional call for comments be made to allow more consideration of substantial revisions
The APNIC Secretariat will consider all comments received and may also determine whether the comments received justify an additional comment period. At the end of the comment period, drafts document are published as official APNIC documents.
